BobbyRutan says: As Media Matters for America has documented, O'Reilly has made a number of provocative statements about race. In a February 27, 2006, conversation with a caller about the disproportionately few jobs and contracts that have gone to locals in the rebuilding of New Orleans, O'Reilly said: "[T]he homies, you know ... I mean, they're just not going to get the job." Suprised Bobby? "It's Billo - WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!" Of course O'Reilly denies he said anything racist, that he was taken out of context. He doesn't seem to be aware of the fact that everything he said that he denies saying is on tape, in the public record, on YouTube and elsewhere. As Jon Stewart so eloquently put it (although he was referring to Cheney at the time): Sir, I must inform you that your pants are on fire.. |
