masbury says: Interview with Martha Raddatz and had this answer been given by "I ain't seen no racist pastors" Obama, it would be celebrated as an example of political courage. Actually...no. Cheney has a long history of doing whatever he damn well pleases, Obama does not, but thank you for the false moral equivalence. Once again, CR is C-Wrong! It would have been more honest to include Cheney's complete answer instead of cutting it off in mid-sentence. He did say "no" but he qualified it. The only thing Cheney is qualified to do is continue to screw up the country and world. @sfrantz: I would agree with you, but for his answer to the first question. When told of the huge proportion of Americans who oppose his actions, he said, "So?" And stopped there until prompted further. "So?" is an answer of disdain; perhaps the "so" rather than the "no" would have made a better headline. Given his unwillingness to explain (until prompted), the details of the "no" don't change much. |
