If we truly created Artificial Intelligence, Could it go insane? Imagine a truly Logical intelligence trying to explain Human behavior. Hal in 2001 Space odyssey was fictional but two things could still be considered true.
A lie to AI would be considered to be irreconcilable Data.
I would expect AI to either go into a loop, or more dangerously, if had the capacity to accept a lie it would be capable of Lying itself.There would be no white lies. but there will be fools who think "what it doesn't know won't hurt it", without considering what it really knows.

What would happen to AI if a Worm or designed malware broke through it's Firewall.You know what would drive people Crazy? If they thought the AI had a secret it wasn't telling them. By definition AI cannot be "Good" or "Bad". Imagine it's view of Humans if it judged us by our own standards.
