I so glad people are starting to think about this. I have always thought it extremely doubtful, that they would follow anybody anywhere at all. I have always thought that to be a silly notion. I mean, it's not like the troops in Iraq are a some sort physical barrier, that the terrorists can't get around, under or over, so they have to wait, fight and kill every soldier and THEN walk over them and come to our shores. Silly. They'd be in our faces right now if that's what they wanted. That's not the way terrorism works. They don't have standing armies or navies or air forces or anything. They rely on sleeper cells, suicide bombers and the likes. The troops fighting in Iraq aren't changing that fact.

Yes, thanks for posting this. I can't believe people have been falling for the "we're fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here" line for so long. It's a great soundbite, but it's not reality. It's not even logical.
