I in fact do believe in a God. The difference is I know that I can not prove anything about God. This includes what he wants, thinks, commands, expects etc... No human can. Because of this, I would never attempt to tell others what God is or says. To do so would be declaring that I know the mind of God, a very arrogant thing indeed. So the real issue is not do you believe in God, it is do you feel justified to tell others what God says etc... Do you really think you can truly draw authority through some book that is claimed to be the word of God. A book which can never be proved as being the word of God. Do you really want to attempt to claim to know the mind of God. I sure don't. It just might piss God off. I think there are going to be a whole lot of people shocked in the end when God say "You fools, I never said those words in any of those books and I am very disappointed that you did not use the common sense I gave you to figure this out"
