Rustee says: More importantly, the economic evolution of places such as China and the Gulf states of the Middle East is intimately tied to something so simple and so essential that it is easily overlooked: the belief that they can achieve anything. The national inertia is so pervasive nowadays, and the economic challenges that China and India present, I have to wonder if they could replace us on the global market place within a decade or so. We have to rid our- selves of the insane regulation and taxation on our market economy. |
