Obama did accomplish one thing so far, which was sign a $787 billion “stimulus” package into law that was nothing of the sort. It was presented as an economy saver, but in reality it’s a job killer.

A fast climbing deficit and fears of hyperinflation have made the entire economy vulnerable and as a result, businesses are hunkering down for an expected long lasting downturn and are not hiring any new employees.

If the nearly one trillion dollars had actually been spent towards, you know, job creation, maybe we wouldn’t be in this apparently never ending unemployment pickle.

Obama has given over 120 press conferences in the first 8 months of his presidency compared to around 40 for George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, most dedicated to one doomsday scenario or another. If we don’t pass cap and trade … we’re all going to die; if healthcare reform doesn’t happen … we’re all going to die; if we don’t stop Israel from building houses in the West Bank, you guessed it … we’re DEFINITELY all going to die.

Like the boy who cried fire, with each passing day Obama is whittling down the power of the presidency. We’ve already reached the point where none of the world’s tyrants care what Obama has to say, our allies are tired of being snubbed and ignored, and most Americans are becoming wary of his half-truths and pie-in-the-sky progressive causes.

Obama is well on his way to being universally regarded as Jimmy Carter’s even crazier younger brother.
