Methinks it would be a humanitarian gesture to charge these giant unethical corporations with crimes against the planet.

You can't have it both ways--either people starve because they can't grow enough food in their climates or we genetically modify seeds so we get better production in marginal growing areas. Its okay to modify seeds as long as its done through hybrids (which take years) or do it genetically which can be done quicker. Let them starve because they don't live in a country with sustainable agriculture or help them feed themselves. "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Surely there is a much better way to produce hybrid seeds through already proven ethical plant breeding, and the conservation of the species and varieties of plants .

As opposed to Monsanto and others of their ilk, who have done precious little if one cares to research their combined histories, other than impose a benign slavery on already indebted third world farmers. .... and increasingly farmers everywhere.

I have not even begun to address the elimination of bird and other species. Or the decline in species that pollinate.
