Cool, I'm not addicted :3 4 and 8 doesn't apply, rest, guilty as charged.  crap, exactly describing me...an internet addict i need to get a life This thing is serious.....I wouldn't be surprised if there is already a high demand for Internet Shrinks I admit to #2 Yes, well what can I say that hasn't be said already... but then again, aren't we addicted to Life it self... and the way we live that addiction is much and much for the same underlying reasons? addiction to technology, eg mobile phone, chatlines, blogging, socialisation, relationships, is a need to "feel" and/or be "connected"... one web, is much like any other, just different aspects... etc. etc. some more harmful, some more distracting, yet most "filling" a "feeling" most have in common... the sense of not wanting to be "alone"... perhaps? maybe? "knowing" the why? of our addiction/habit/behaviour is the real challenge... self-honesty, etc. So what... living is an addiction to physicalit... lol what kind of doctor do you see about this kind of thing? Interesting observations,and most apply to many, but for me my attraction is exactly the opposite of a need to connect, or to fulfill a need to "feel" something. These are the things of real life. I've got plenty of that. The attraction to the cyberworld is to the freedom from all that. Where thoughts, ideas, opinion, beliefs, can be expressed and debated absent all the mess of emotion and personal identity. There's never been anything like it. Here's a big pop for your clip, dfiskey; I must be on the same wavelength as alot of my fellow clippers today, I think I hit a world's record for clipping the same clip as other's today, but I consider that a compliment. I'll admit, im addicted! And how many of those symptoms, pray tell, have to do with pr0n?  As, I said on Deb's clip, I'm pretty happy with not having any of those symptoms. I thought I might have. i thought i was beginning to have a problem and finding you lot has not helped.........  Ah...I had all those symptoms since 1996 Gosh! I think that I'm a little more hooked on this that I thought I was! |
