OMG, this is after my anal retentive neat freak heart.

Oh debby, you've just dashed all my fantasies. I'm a bit of a, how should I phrase it, "relaxed" housekeeper. No, I don't have paths winding through towering stacks of years of newspaper piles but no one has ever called me a neat freak.

I did find the kitchen layout nice!

I don't know what it is about neatness Alt, perhaps it makes me have the fantasy of being in control. I just feel better when everything is clean and shiny and smells good and it's all in it's place.

Not at all! I like things that way too. I just don't like the work involved in getting there. I need to call Rent a Maid!

My youngest did all the housework for me since she got out of school for the summer and OMG it helped so much while I was working. I tell her every day how much I appreciate it.

You're lucky! All my kiddies are grown and living their own lives now. If I need help they're there but otherwise it's like pulling teeth to get them all together for anything! Luckily I remember when I was in their place so a little bit of clutter and dust is no biggie for me. I'd rather direct my energies in other areas. And besides, I don't have to please anyone but myself!

She is going to cut, dye and deep condition my hair today in an effort to make me feel better from my sick.

I have a pounding headache and it must be that these steroids are breaking something loose. Or I should check my blood pressure. *LOL*
It was excellent at the doctor's yesterday. At least I can be thankful for that.
