masbury says:
Time for outrage: Look what neocons and passive congresses have done to us! How can we write off responsibility for the deaths and wounds of half a millions Americans and live with no accountability whatsoever? How can we be so immoral as to shrug our shoulders and just elect someone else? Where is justice? (and we haven't even begun to touch the enormity of the losses to innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan.)

The sufferin this criminal Admin has caused just keeps piling up...How we (they) let this happen is unconscionable.
Congress is complicit--shamefully so.

How can the current administration and congress commit such crimes?.. They're criminals without anyone to bring them before the bar, that's how. .

It has to do with GUILT. Read history's examples of guilt smitten executors and persecutors of protestant Christians. It's common among those who awaken to realize they have shed innocent blood (i.e. unjust war, civilian collateral damage, etc.). They often went mad or committed suicide. Another portion of it is the equivalent to post-traumatic stress syndrome, memories which haunt due to fear and horror.

It is a false compassion that puts all responsibility for the depression of soldiers back on America, as if they are not responsible for their own unconditional commitment to act as pawns of an unjust military war machine, as if they are amoral creatures to serve the desires of Empire....
