* Stephen Schneider, whom the video made fun of for being a proponent of the global cooling hypothesis in the 1970s and for being a proponent of the global warming hypothesis now, was also part of the effort to successfully challenge the global cooling hypothesis (Schneider and Mass, "Volcanic Dust, Sunspots, and Temperature Trends", Science, 190, 741). In other words, Schneider was willing to be convinced by the data that his earlier ideas were wrong. I wonder if Fred Singer has that kind of integrity. [1][2]
