I've been enjoying cooking more and more. I love the whole process, even if I'm just cooking for myself. It's worth making the time for it.

I find cooking to be meditative and creative. I just made some cookies and they turned out all wrong. I think it was my baking soda. C'est la vie. That means I get to make them over again!

This afternoon I will be baking bread. I hope it turns out better than the cookies.

Hey!! did you not know, society is to blame for all bad eating habits.....We can shift the blame for all out other failures so why not cooking, or lack of it, too.

There are absolutely no GOOD reasons why people cannot eat proper food, just excuses.

I'll set the table, clear the table and do ALL the dishes if I just don't have to cook. I hate it! I never seem to be able to even fry an egg without coming away with third degree burns. Maybe that's why I love salad so much. A good home-cooked meal beats fast food any day and especially the time sitting down together with the family to enjoy it.

It's a deal, TNCBT. I love cooking and hate doing dishes. I promise not all of my cooking turns out like those cookies.

Good luck with the bread btw bignose! I am a little bit envious of your family I must admit. I can almost sense that wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread spreading through the air. Is there a nicer, more homely and comforting smell around, than fresh baked bread? Hardly.

Well, it would have to be home.baked cookies then.

I think not. Bread is the best smell. Better than bacon and I love bacon.

This morning I lit a candle called "cinnamon bun" and my poor husband woke and said, "oh, I thought you were making breakfast." Ooops.

I also made caramel apples this morning, michaelll, with Granny Smiths. They are tiny and cute!

I do not make things like this everyday, Clippers. I'm staring to sound like a carb addict. LOL.

The last time I tried to cook anything, I nearly burned the place down! (Okay, so something shorted out in the circuit breaker box, but still...) Some of us were never meant to cook. I can nuke with the best of them, though!

I have been slow cooking country style ribs for about 6 hours, with black jack oak.
I just put the BBQ sauce on and about 30 more minutes, I'll be in hog heaven.
