I'm very familiar with Mass Resistance. They have an awful reputation here in Boston. I will say that although I'm careful about who I label as a hate group, Mass Resistance has been in fact labeled as hate group by both the straight and gay communities here in Boston. Hate is an ugly word, and often times, confused with ignorance, so I'm not going to place that label on Mass Resistance or the activists.

I also think that the activists used very poor judgment climbing through windows and disrupting Sorba's born gay hoax event extravaganza. They had every right to gather and enjoy each other's company, discuss, and commiserate.

I also think the people who have strong feelings about this on both sides of the argument, both gay and straight alike, have shown poor judgment in the past, at other events, in other places.

The harm and disruption here is nothing compared to the Kansas preacher, Fred Phelps. If you wanna go tit for tat, he is about is disgusting as it gets.

The disruption that Ryan experienced is small potatoes compared to the disruption the gay teen in Florida experienced recently. He was shot and killed for being gay. He's dead. The day a gay man or lesbian shoots Ryan dead for his beliefs is a day you'll never see. The activists were disruptive, but they aren't as disgusting as a killer. I wish Ryan the very best, too.
