Just wanted to make sure everyone knows that we released a new version of clipmarks (version 3.5) that supports the just-released Firefox3. We made some real nice improvements to the orange lines so they should more accurately outline elements on the page to clip.

If you don't have the latest version of clipmarks installed, you can get it here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1407. There's a review section on that page, so if you have anything nice to say, don't hesitate

Thanks Socratoad, I installed it and the new extension, working fine, but I'm wondering where can I see this new clipping enhancement in action? I don't see anything different when I try to clip. I wonder if I'm missing something.

The most noticeable improvement is that the orange lines do a much better job of accurately surrounding areas of text to clip. If you recall, the prior version often displayed orange lines that extended way out to the left or right of a paragraph. This no longer happens with the new version. A couple of other improvements to the clipping technology, but that's the most noticeable one.

I really miss my Rt-Clk expander.
Nothing happens now when I rt-clk in clip mode.
Can you bring this feature back?

Hey Skwirl. Some of the fixes we put in broke the right-click slider. We're looking into fixing it so we can hopefully add it back soon.

I've found that the window that opens to finish your clip (add title, comment, and keywords) isn't opening to the proper dimension. Just a heads-up.

well, I still have the problem that highlighted text will not clip, orange lines work just fine, any ideas?
