whats wrong with banning the NAZI swasitika? The hindu symbol is different than the nazi one.

AD, the problem arises from the fact that they want to ban the swastika as a whole, they haven't made any allowance for the Hindu version

also know as the 'sun wheel' and sometime as 'hammer of thor'
exists in runic language and early European languages

They think that by banning the symbol across Europe would help eliminate Nazi influence (evil) on their generations to come. I wonder how many hindus display Swastika in public.

I don't know about Indians in Europe, but in India, it is proudly displayed in most households (especially among the North Indians)
