Just finished watching the movie...so many messages to be interpreted and analogies to be considered. Makes me think of the saying "careful what you wish for, you just might get it."

I'm reading it now. A beautiful, complex work, but I don't know what to make of it. I sense a symbolism, but then again, it can be taken at face value and be just as meaningful.
