Too many people discover they are going to die, when they hear an ambulance coming. Paramedics don't take ignorance as as excuse. They take vital signs, details of medical history, insurance details, details of the patient and their next of kin, and the patient, either to casualty, or the coroner, who will issue another warning that will be ignored.
