Torture, illegal wiretapping, suspension of habeas corpus, plans to ignore Posse Commitatus, foreign wars that kill thousands of innocents to profit corporations, thrashing of political dissent all well and good, as long as their guy is doing it. But the moment somebody steps up and says "You are wrong and I am going to fix this" its all "end of the world this" and "socialism" that?

Republicans, get a clue, there is no such thing as a benevolent dictator. You handed these powers to the President, you don't get to complain about it now.

And the reason why you don't get to complain is because you don't get it. It ain't about the man in the White House, its about which power that man should or should not have. But you wanted to be safe at all cost. You cuddled Big Brother when he told you he would keep you safe and you ignored all the warning signs.

i too agree- that a country can't- or shouldn't beat democracy into peoples' heads- and no I don't have anything to hide- but i am not comfortable giving up my rights of privacy- wiretaps- illegal search etc- or any rights for protection? omg- we should have been protected from the very people that sold that bill of goods-and to tell you the truth? i am amazed people did not se it sooner- some still don't see the ruse-oh well.......
