Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) promised that no Republicans will vote for the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), should it come to the Senate floor.

McConnell explained that the reason for such uncompromising opposition is that workers don’t actually want to join unions due to the “very enlightened management in this country now."

Unions are a good idea gone bad. They are cancer to companies. They are materialist thugs. I don't buy union and know more and more people who aren't.

Also read an article that said 80% of New Orleans construction workers have experienced wage theft (where they do the work, but they don't get paid). Charming, eh?

I worked for a non-union place that included in their recruitment that they alance work-life.

Would receive emails on Fridays at 8 pm regarding work.

What a hoot. What a frigging recruitment scam. Slave drivers without any lives.

Americas greatest boom time was when the unions got people better pay and representation. But after Reaganomics, The unions have become less. And with that, the average workers pay has done the same. I guess it will be back to the future of serfdom.
