I've never used a powerpoint for my speeches.... but I've gathered a few occasions of stiff-neck and soar eyes from going to conferences with powerpoint.... talkers should really be more considerate for their audiences, don't you think??? If the Audience isn't treated with respect, they won't hear the message. It is not the obligation of the audience to understand, (of course it helps) It is the obligation of the presenter to make clear what is presented. If a presenter is not making themselves clear, audience feedback can help. It is really about people who discover they have worked out Powerpoint, and are showing off. A few bad reviews can put things into perspective. |
