The truth of the matter is that most people aren't naturally altruistic, but I've noticed every time I do a kind
deed just b/c I can (and sometimes, I really don't feel like
doing it) something positive comes from an unexpected source. It's like the saying, "You can never stand in the
same river."

I did not coin this phrase but it has great meaning and has a lot to say!

"Forget what you have given,
Remember what you have taken"

Time, skills and services are also good things to give in our current climate.......there are so many areas where we can be of value!
I just finished a 2 year volunteer commitment here at a local prison.......one of the best things I ever did. I am now about to begin donating a few hours a month in a different arena and am looking very forward to the new adventure

Gratitude is an ACTION for sure......
