You, of course, are entitled to your own opinions, but I'm asking everyone who reads this to not jump to conclusions. This incident is not Bush's fault, the military's fault, or the fault of any senior Army commanders. Blame ought to fall directly on these five men, and their direct-line superiors no more than three levels up. There is no way for senior leaders to keep track of a few Joes when they have thousands of other people and things that they're responsible for. |
