Lets see here... If you don't commit crimes, you don't (usually) get tazed. (I know, I know "Don't taze me bro") the UF cops were retarded, but 90% of those donut munching retards jobs is writing speeding tickets in 20mph campus wide speed traps. But I digress, We could take the tazers away from the cops, then they could just shoot those people that get tazed. Sounds good to me, prisons are too over populated as it is.

I've never been tazed and have no plans to be in a position to where I would need to be.

Come on. While sitting with Husband I've seen episodes of COPS. They either taze them or shoot them...The perpetrators are high on drugs, resisting arrest (that's a crime?), repeated/known offenders, etc... Whose side are we on? Heck...in America it doesn't matter. They are released quickly because there is no room in our prisons, $$ for their board, or time in the courts. The criminals know the drill.

Well guess what, 100% of people shot with firearms need medical attention. Would people rather have firearms at the one and only option or would people rather have the taser as the next step. Without the taser options are limited. OC does not always stop a criminal from fighting and can also render the arresting officer out of the fight. The taser will stop the fight and save the criminals and the officers life.
