I just got done reading a news article in a magazine about a 14 year old girl, Aisha Parveen, kidnapped on her way to school in Pakistan. Finally because of the bad press, the government agreed to drop charges against her. When Aisha first thought she'd be returned to the brothel owner she said, "God should not give daughters to poor people. And if a daughter is born, God should grant her death."
