This may be hard for non-Asians to understand, but it is a prevailing culture. Things could only change by bringing more awareness to it.

I agree with you Arif! In the name of conservatism, what all the people go thro in India, I know!...but still, it is far far better today than it was decades ago: every single day adds up more knowledge and more awareness!
