The REAL Napster
Be careful what you wish for:
As soon as drugs are 'legal' the big tobacco companies (and others) will be all over it. We all know what happens when they get ahold of something. The end result usually isn't good.

The question is... are we better off supporting drug lords and crime bosses or a power hungry CEOs? At least with it legal, it offers jobs and actual tax money.

The government will never make illicit drugs legal. They make too much money off the probation money. Plus, they have something to hold over the heads of people who will not cooperate by ratting out other types of criminals.

If illicit drugs were legalized, it would be very harmful to the U.S. economy too. Think of all the law enforcement officers, drug case defense attorneys, probation officers , and prison guards that would be out of work.

Oh, I'm sure the government could make a little money off taxes on sales of drugs, but not as much as they make off it being illegal from the huge fines and probation payments.

Speaking as a teacher, don't do homework on drugs. If you want to do homework you should probably do it sober. Do drugs after you are done with your homework.

If someone is going to stop taking a drug it requires personal responsibility, and a conscious decision by the taker. We have to reconsider a social structure that makes people think that allowing addictive substance to gradually cause their judgment to crumble for the sake of the addiction, to be a viable alternative to reality.People need redirection, not condemnation. The drugs problem is a social and medical problem, that is taken advantage of by criminals, and induces criminal behavior in some takers.
I drank alcohol too much, and had to give up before it killed me. I met so many other ex drinkers who said that they used to drink because they had to relax after facing problems all all d...
