Humans - deadliest by a long way.
The crocs don't get that many people in Australia. They must be getting them while away from Australia, on holidays I suppose. Only 2 or 3 a year. Injuries are just as rare. And croc news always makes the paper here. People love it.

Check here and here on the ferocity of hippos. Lions aaren`t really that much of a threat to humans, and their kill rates consist mostly of stupid tourists who get too close.
