That title is a tad misleading (I know it's from the original source) since the "Roe" in Roe v Wade is now a "Pro-life" advocate, not an "Abortion Rights" advocate. Even though she ended up giving her baby up for adoption (rather than having an abortion, despite her name being used in the effort), she apparently later came to regret her part in making abortion legal.
