Altho I haven't seen it to be that common, I've used vertical tabs extensively in Firefox and they seriously rock. I've setup the latest Widefox, fully compatible with Firefox 2.0, and I'm in websurfing bliss.

It makes sense long lists like regular menus are vertical, so why aren't your tabs too? Consider that for a moment, and if you use a lot of tabs, be sure to take a look at this!

How do you get a scrollbar for the tabs, though? I've got like 50 tabs and can only see maybe 35 of them. There should be code for a scrollbar so you can go down far enough to see all of your tabs.

Think about it, imagine that you've got 1,000 tabs. Do you see a scrollbar so you could move down far enough to see all the tabs? What do you do?

Did you ever try TabMixPlus? One of my absolute favs. It comes with very good features for excessive tabbing.
