Yes we still do ,we take it in turns my neighbours turn this year, all the family will come and bring something and we have fireworks and cook potatoes on the fire we all end up dirty and smell at the end of the night, then its bed time for the children and wine time for the adults We also go out on Halloween dressed up, all the street decorates their houses and gives the children sweets then we play games ,dunking apples its great fun xxx Brings back memories, early 60's they were pulling the floor boards out of the old mill in Atherton, dry and full of old cotton etc, we collected loads 50 ft high bonfire on the night fire brigade had to put it out cracked windows in the houses 50 yds away !!!!
