blueridge says: by Charles Manson prosecutor and Helter Skelter author Vincent Bugliosi. Click on the video and see how serious he is about a legal case against Bush. His prosecution record is almost flawless too. I read Helter Skelter from front to finish. Another excellent book by Bugliosi is "And The Sea Will Tell" http://www.amazon.com/Sea-Will-Tell-Vincent-Bugliosi/dp/0804109176 Let's hope there's a DA who will take heed to this book's suggestions in that town that voted to arrest Bush if he comes there. Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Bremer, Wolfowitz should all be damned as well. I read Helter Skelter from front to finish. That's interesting. What other books have you read "from front to finish"? As a prosecutor dedicated to seeking justice, he delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines, based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.ROFL Sooners? Don't roll too hard sugar. You may do some brain damage @Willhelm: Are we having a conversation now? Try the 911 commission report, The Heart of Christianity, Bushwacked, The Lost Gospel Of Q, The God We Never Knew, The Leadership Secret Of Jesus, One Day My Soul Just Opened Up, Life After Death, The Empire Has No Clothes, Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace, The Last Week, The Great Unraveling, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, Jesus,. Our Endangered Values, God and Empire, Thieves In High Places and that's what I've read this year. Wow, that's quite a lot for five months. 16 books? I read pretty much nonstop and I haven't read 16 books, but then I am kind of a slow, leisurely reader, and I have slowed my pace a bit. You don't strike me as the reading type, but I'm glad you read the conventional way, from front to finish. hahahahha Willhelm, I read all the time. Probably some of the best books I read in high school were The Sterile Cukoo, The Catcher In The Rye (I had a first edition in my hands once) I know why the caged bird sings, The Yearling, To Kill A Mockingbird, and heck I read practically every book in the whole library. Well, that is of course an exgaggeration, but let's just say I was prepared on book report day, from start to finish and my English teacher drew Don't roll too hard sugar. You may do some brain damageSorry, but they just described a robot, not a human being. The thought that because he was a prosecutor that he has no biases or political beliefs is just too funny. I read pretty much nonstop and I haven't read 16 books,I meant, of course, in the last 5 months. I hardly find time to read real books anymore, but I am constantly listening to informational podcasts (mostly photography) and lots of fiction podiobooks. I dunno Sooners, There is something about reading a real book that appeals to me. They have to be hardbacks and new. It's like the whole process is so fresh and crisp and I love turning the pages and holding the book in my hands. It might be old fashioned, but to me it's kind of wonderful. I like reading a real book, and I do occasionally get the chance, but not as often as I would like. Fortunately there are some great audio books online that allow you to listen to a good work of fiction usually read by the author and do it while you are doing other things like mowing the lawn. I love podcasts, but my ADD kicks in on podiobooks and audiobooks. Can't do it. I wish I could. I know a lot of ppl do the audio book thing and for some reason I just can't get into it. It may be conditioning perhaps. Some of the best times I had as a kid were spent in our public library just exploring the bookshelves for the next little treasure I might find there. I actually built such a nice relationship with all the librarians that we used to discuss the merits of the book flavor of the month. But I think some of my favorite times were spent with an elderly couple down the street who I ran into quite by accident while roaming the neighborhood, book in hand from the library. They would sit out in their lawn chairs and they asked me what book I was reading and invited me to sit ... Very sweet, Deb. The story that is. I suppose the tea was, too. Very sweetIt sure was Bear. Man, I really want to read a book now. I never have time. |
