BartendingBear says: Religious dogma leads to lawsuit. The stupid ... it burns ... Yeah, I'm sure their God will make them burn in hell for such evil and blatant transgressions of the rules. Carrying their religious beliefs a bit to far. You can't really be surprised by this. When you allow a free hand to people to make claims that have a sweeping effect upon all people, believers and non believers alike, and allow them the freedom to act as if those claims are true and unchallengeable, even in the face of contradicting evidence and facts, then you are going to have nonsense complaints like this pop up. They aren't the ones turning them on, thus their religious beliefs are safe. Case dismissed. What? Of course they are the ones turning them on. It is through their movement - just as if they used a clap on light switch. So technically they are responsible for the lights going on and off regardless of their intent - just as if someone stepped onto the door pad of an automatic door. It's a silly ass case, to be sure, but don't try and side step the silliness of religion by saying it doesn't apply. No, it doesn't apply. It isn't their movement turning it on, it is the sensor owned by someone else who is turning it on. Doesn't apply. Case still dismissed. |
