Hrm.. they got it half right.. though I really don't mind the legislative branch handling the title.. Though if they don't call it "Marriage", it'll likely be revisited again in a few years, then again, etc until it is changed.

The Conservative (minority) government here in Canada is flirting with trying to appeal the decision by courts to make same-sex marriage legal here in Canada, but the consensus so far is that they will likely lose. It's harder to take rights away than to give them, especially after they have been given for over a year.
