i def prefer a cool gadget to a price of jewelry! That doesn't mean i don't want/like a diamond necklace....but if both were in front of me.. i'd prob pick the cool tv..sorry clipette!!!!

I totally agree with this! I want a 7 mp, with 10x analog zoom, and 3 or 4x digital zoom! (My birthdays in 2 days, so I'm wishin'! lol)

I have no use for jewellery, but I love gadgets! For my last birthday, I got a Nintendo DS and the one before that, I got an HP Ipaq.

OK, the history of me and expensive jewelry is as follows:
mom's diamond promise ring she got from my dad when she was 18, two years before they got married and she gave to me when i was 16--lost it four years later.
birthstone ring surrounded by diamonds my grandmother gave me at age 15--knocked the stone loose twice and put it up forever.
and so on...
i can keep up with cheap jewelry, so i stick with that. electronics are definitely more my friend than expensive jewelry. sorry, clipette.

Same here....I can't take care of expensive jewellery....if my boyfriend were to propose to me, the chances of my saying "yes" will be greater if he had a computer with a diamond as the desktop image....

LOL, I was thinking something along the lines of a plain white gold band instead of anything with stones. Maybe a set, one three stone and a band. That way I can just wear the plain band, but I can show off the pretty one when people come over. I may be irresponsible, but I love shiny things as much as the next girl.

Wel...maybe he should have a brand new [insert electronic thing I want at the time] in the back seat, just in case I have trouble deciding.
