Well, isn't this just great? The US and Europe plan to fork over millions of dollar to the PA, Gaza and the West Bank still believing that we can *buy* peace. We can promote a "two state solution" till the cows come home but it's purely words and wishful thinking. I guess someone figures that as long as *we* keep talking the inevitable will not happen.

I do not agree with giving a dime that could wind up in the hands of Hamas or any other terrorists. I do not think buying them off is any way to conduct policy and I don't think it would work anyway.

Of course it's not going to work. But the naive Americans (and others) believe "it's for the children". I'd usually go along with that, but have you seen what they're teaching their children there?!!! That's what the money allocated for 'education' will support.

The children are the victims, however we can not deprogram them. The parents brainwash the kids from birth to hate Israel and all non-muslims. These same parents who themselves have been brainwashed since birth are actually proud of their children who die in suicide bombings.

Stupitidy breeds ignorance, this has been such a long standing trend, I doubt funneling funds to them will produce anything other than negative results.

Its an easy read of the history of the Middle East and the relationships between the inhabitants. I haven't quite finished it, but I can recommend it. It explains a lot of policy too.

No BNM, I haven't but I watch his "Report" program on the internet. He knows a lot about the area and reports on the latest issues going on there.
