I don't know what to think about it.. On one side it is interesting and exiting, from a scientific point of view (and worth the money/resource, so to say); on the other side, so much resources (to be) used for 'bringing back' pets (in future maybe even humans), while elsewhere people are dying due to lack of the 'bare necessities'. I know that's not the only area resources are 'flowing to', while there are a lot of other things far higher in the priority list (in my opinion). Maybe it should not be allowed to be made commercial, before some 'global problems' are solved? Like saying to a child 'you cannot buy yourself a new dress, before your brother gets also his first new one'. I guess the world does just not work this way... I wonder if a cloned human would be 'the same person' as the other/original one. He/she may have the same genes, but will inevitably grow up in different circumstances, deploying a different character maybe... |
