This is ridiculous. Anyone familiar with Chomsky's political polemics going back to the Vietnam War will know there's no way in hell he was a CIA agent. I cannot take anything written by the author of this article seriously after he makes such a huge leap in logic to slur someone's name.

I actually don't really care for Chomsky's political writings, I think he plays loose with the facts and I would always, always double-check if you rely on him to make a factual point. I brought him up in an earlier clip to show that even other leftists--people whom would be more disposed to criticizing elites and the US government--consider this 9-11 conspiracy stuff to be baloney.

I believe what he's been doing is to follow Louis Althusser's approach on "ideological apparatuses of the state" and keeping a careful eye on media as the main disinfo source, strictly controlled by the official ideology. On the other hand, who's this "Daniel L. Abrahamson"? Do a Google search and see the only reference about him is this (and one more piece) criticism directed on Chomsky. No biography, no information about his background. Even the guy's e-mail adress smells fake. As I said on my previous comment, I'm not against criticising Chomsky but not via this guy or Jeff Rense's disinfo web site.
