Atlanta's only public hospital. Closing would leave Atlanta without a major trauma center.

OMG ... I have had several grandchildren born here. Several of my daughter's were one of those poor, uninsured people who went through the Welfare/Medicaid system. They went to the maternity clinic at Grady. Without it they would not have been able to afford the prenatal care they needed.

This would indeed be a tragedy of epic proportion for the poor in Atlanta if this happens.
