Very lame description and unfortunate grouping with myspace and facebook though. Doesn't seem as though they really checked it out in any depth.

As different as myspace and facebook might be from Clipmarks, in terms of popularity, they're not bad sites to be compared to...

I agree with GD, they could have 'experianced' ClipMarks for awhile before trying to asess it. If they actually used it they would have given it a higher rating and better write up.
Looks like a passing phrase

If it's just about popularity, a Britney Spears comparison would have worked.

Yes, not a bright and detailed review as we all desired, but it's a beginning after all. Being mentioned on NYT is undoubtedly a prestigious thing, so congratulations guys!

As I've always been saying, the "big explosion" is on the horizon. Clipmarks becoming not only a healthy and high quality information community, but also a "cult". We like being here, we like to communicate each other, we like to share, we like to joke and laugh, we see each other as friends even though most of us have never seen each other. We have our own "rules", we are slowly creating an understanding of ethics, we are creating a joyful, intellectual, respectful and loyal information family here. Look at [url=...

Articulate, as usual, Invictus, and I agree, but with an exception.

Just as I felt queasy with the term ClipMoms yesterday, as used--clearly somewhat in humor--in the discussion of minimal content regulation, the word cult is similarly loaded with negative connotation, and makes me even more uneasy.

Community, club, cybervillage; anything but cult.

i like that idea...blogs created the blogosphere, so why not clipnation?

also, i believe it was skwirlinator who earlier referred to a clipmark as "good clipwork"...that sounds cool to me too.
