swampfoxz says: I need your love, can't live without you. Your my everything. I want to be with you again. For ever. very nice song Unchained Melody is one of my all time favorites. Thanks, swampfoxz Oh the nostalgia. when my child was an infant, awake in the middle of the night, I would play this and he'd go back to sleep. Glad I made you guys smile. In 1953, I was 16 years old, walking down Broadway, at night, from the Long Branch Boardwalk. As I turned the corner onto Liberty Street, I saw a huge crowd outside the Club 45, a popular all-Black Bar. As I got closer I realized why there were so many people, all straining to get in the door. Inside, singing the way no one had ever heard anyone sing before, was Roy Hamilton. It was here at the Club 45 that he was discovered by Bill Cook. Hamilton went on as the first to record the songs posted on the comments of this clip: Ebb Tide, Unchained Melody, and this, the one I heard live outside the Club 45. You'll Never Walk Alone By Roy Hamilton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQze9nTh-qo Great song One of my favourite songs |
