You should check out the book "Them" by Jonn Ronson. He spends time with a bunch of conspiracy theorists, and pretty much finds that they're all off their rockers.

I believe Nixon was probably spot on with his comments and the bush men do happen to partake, as well as several other prominent figures. As for Bilderberg group, well, keep in mind, operation northwoods was considered a "conspiracy" story and the truth about Gulf of Tonkin was at one time as well, until years later when the gov't was forced to release the details in accordance with the freedom of information act. So perhaps, though fictional, agent Mulder was right, "Trust no one, and the truth is out there."
