I'm going to have to read the entire Fortune article when I'm not so tired, but I remember from several years ago, before the iPod, he was featured in Fortune magazine. We did an entire case study on him and Apple for one of my management classes when I was working on my MBA. By far one of the best success stories for a technology company.
