I can't count the number of times I was looking for a particular type of music but didn't know what it was. This is a nice list of music styles that comes in handy during searches on youtube and identifying music for sorting and collections.

anyway, If you are in firefox and you right-click and find page info on the context menu there is a choice to translate the page.

I clicked the link on one and translated it and it had some really good suggestions. I still haven't figured out how to get the music samples yet.

I was really amazed at how many different style there are.
There are the standard ones I studied in music appreciation but those all have sub-styles and they have sub-sub-styles. I did find some new stuff to check out. Mostly in the experimental areas.
I don't like classic classical but I may like classical experimentals with some guitar, sax and heavy drums.
Has anyone else explored styles for new stuff?
