We do not know what "color" God is, but we do know that He loves a variety of different looks... I don't think He puts one above another.

But not his alone, and by extension Liberation theology goes well beyond black churches and was embraced in many places in Latin America especially those under the yoke of right-wing dictatorships. To bad that the last Pope disowned it so that he could get browny points with Reagan over Poland.

The real problem with "Liberation Theology" is that it always has a Marxist compnent to it that ends up taking over and pushing the religious aspect to the back. Liberation theologians life Social Gospelers use relgion to legitimize the socialist agenda.

The social agenda is inside the Gospels, always have. And since they came before Marxist thought, it is they who take precedence.
