Muazzez Cig is the "living legend" of Sumerology and one of the very few leading Sumerologists in the world. She has numerous books and articles on Mesopotamian archaeology and Sumerians; as well as being the colleague of Samuel Noah Kramer in 1950's, when they worked together for Kramer's work on Sumerian clay tablets and cylinder seals. Shame on you Turkey!
