As far as attraction goes, here's how we get the message:

55% is through body language
38% is the tone and speed of our voice
Only 7% is through what we say

This is why it's so hard to flirt online, I guess. That 7% becomes all 100%.

BNM: You make a relevant point, but I'm sure some people have expert skill flirting online, yet struggle finding that same level of confidence and boldness when meeting someone face to face.
