Georgia needs immediate humanitarian aid but the embargo, blockade, collective punishment and slow starvation of over a million and a half people in the Gaza strip takes place in front of our eyes.

We need to elect better leaders.

Hopefully seeing our own clear hypocrisy it might give us a more balanced view of the world.and get us off the phony highhorse we pretend to ride. We've killed hundreds of thousands of more innocent civilians in the last few years than action actions of Russia or China or Iraq or Iran. We're the axis of evil.

If we don't get our heads straight on this now it may never happen at all. Making energy independence a "War," here at home would be the best war we could fight. If we put the money we put into Iraq into science, research, alternative renewable energies, the best biofuels, worked for clear coal and drilled where permits have already been granted, we'd be doing the best for ourselves rather then all our post-WWII efforts at imperialism and colonialism.

Bush has been like FEMA for New Orelans. Iraq and the Middle East.,the economy, destroying our principles of justice - with his approval of torture, secret prisons and indefinite detentions.,like FEMA for the Americas, like FEMA now in the Caucasus.

Never have we been so low.
