Some Americans voted for him, but he stole a lot of votes, too. They never finished counting the real votes on Gore or Kerry's side, so we'll never know what the real tallies for the 2000/2004 elections were. If you're interested, I have clips about Bush's vote-stealing.

A great documentary on the elections to check out is called "Hacking Democracy", which explains what happened. It's not a conspiracy theory, btw. The Democrats know Bush stole votes and how he did it, but didn't have anything in place to combat it...until the 2006 elections. (inside source)
