Knol is a hybrid of the individual, often opinionated entries found in blogs and the collective editing relied on by Wikipedia and other wiki sites.

The information isn't as important the identity? Do they account for identity theft? Seems like they are trying to come up with a better mouse trap. Last voice wins?
As though anyone who makes a wikki entry will never check their entry, or submit their identity.
